Frances M Wirtz

Frances Miriam (Novielli) Wirtz, 70, of Pickerington, went peacefully to eternal rest on April 18, 2014.  
Fran was born November 7, 1943 in Columbus to Frank and Mary Novielli.  She was a 1961 graduate of Central High School.  She was married to Steve Wirtz on July 14, 1962.  They shared a loving and devoted life together for 52 years.  Fran was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother.  She was a retiree of the Kroger company after 27 years of service.  She was a devoted member of Seton Parish Catholic Church in Pickerington.  Fran was a caring and giving member of the community.  She adored her grandchildren and glowed when they were around.  She was an Ohio State Buckeye fan, and especially enjoyed basketball.  
She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Steve Wirtz; four daughters, Mary Wirtz, Theresa Cooper, Kim (Michael) Bratton, and Amanda (Chris) VanAlmsick; grandchildren, Jessica, Steven (Nicole) Cooper, Kyle, Kory, and Michaela Bratton, Kaden and Shayde VanAlmsick; great-grandson, Brandon Cooper; sisters, Jean and Rita; and many, many nieces and nephews.  
She was preceded in death by siblings, Jodi Burg and Carl Novielli (Brud).  
Friends may visit from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 550 Hill Rd. N., Pickerington, OH 43147, where a vigil service will be held at 7:30 p.m.  
A memorial mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at Seton Parish Catholic Church, 600 Hill Rd. N., Pickerington, OH 43147.
