Rodger Lee Eplion

Rodger L. Eplion, age 69, of Pickerington, died Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer. Born June 5, 1944 in Huntington, WV, he was retired after a long career in sales, and was a member of Jersey Baptist Church in Pataskala.
He is survived by children, Rick (Brenda) L. Kirk, Baltimore, Dawnetta L. Pease, Robinson, IL, Rodger L. Pease, Fullerton, CA; grandchildren, Jason (Debbie) Kirk, Pickerington, Michael (Sherri) Kirk, New Lennox, IL, Jessica (Eddie) McKeever, Manteo, NC, Jamie (Jo) Nelson, Olney, IL; great-grandson, Gunther Kirk; mother, Icy Eplion, Huntington, WV; brothers, Danny Eplion, Proctorville, Richard (Gladys) Eplion, Huntington; sisters, Donna (John) Houck, Milton, VW, Patricia Beaman, Chesapeake; sister-in-law, Patty Spears, Pickerington; nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his wife, Barbara “Jo” Eplion in 2008; father, Richard Eplion; and brother, Philip Eplion.
Friends may visit 2-4 & 6-8 pm Friday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 550 Hill Road N. (St. Rt. #256), Pickerington, where funeral service will be held 10:30 am Saturday, with Pastor John Hays officiating. Interment will follow at Violet Cemetery.
