Brenda J. Clemens, age 58, of Carroll, died Thursday, October 12, 2017 at the Pickering House. She was born August 5, 1959 in Columbus, Ohio to the late William and Marjorie Bond.
Brenda worked for many years in sales and as a customer service manager; notably at Million Air, Columbus, Capital City Jet Center, Grove City and most recently Fed-Ex. She also volunteered with FairHoPe Hospice. Brenda loved to take care of others; she was notorious for spoiling her grandchildren and family, taking meals to her neighbors and she never met a stranger. She enjoyed arts and crafts, and would never pass on a good yard sale. Brenda also adored her adopted huskies.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her step-father, Joe Schaller; brother, David Bond.
Brenda is survived by her son, Shawn (Garnet) Hillman; 2 grandchildren; siblings, James (Lisa) Zurbriggen, William Randall Bond, Dale (Carolina) Bond, Wendy (John) Shade; 11 nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may visit 4-6:00 pm on Tuesday, October 17, at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, OH 43110 where a funeral service will follow at 6:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Brenda’s memory can be made to FairHoPe Hospice, 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, OH 43130.
