Brett A. Barwick, age 56, died December 1, 2017 at Mount Carmel East. He was born April 16, 1961 in Zanesville, Ohio and was an avid outdoorsman.
Preceded in death by his father, Fred Barwick; Brett is survived by his sons, Scott Barwick and Joseph (Nina) Barwick; daughter, Samantha Barwick; grandchildren, Kobe, Jacob, Ryan and Sebastian Barwick; significant other, Patti Tapalansky, and her children, Andrew, Thomas and Jonathan Tapalansky; mother, Georgianna “Nicki” Barwick; siblings, Beth (Glen) Ring, Brian (Melissa) Barwick; many nieces, nephews, dear friends, and his beloved dog, Shiner.
Friends may visit 11a.m -1 p.m. Saturday, December 16, 2017 at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 550 Hill Road North, Pickerington, Ohio 43147 where a memorial service will follow at 1p.m. with Pastor Scott Henderson officiating. Those who wish may donate to the Franklin County Dog Shelter, 4340 Tamarack Blvd, Columbus, Ohio 43229 in Brett’s memory.
