Charles Clifford Van Hemert Jr., age 61, of Pickerington, OH passed away October 16, 2017. He was born December 3, 1954 to the late Charles and Betty Van Hemert in Washington, D.C. He retired from Lucent Tech. as an Electrical Engineer after 28 years of service. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved his family dearly. Survived by his wife of 39 years, Julia Dawn Van Hemert; three children, Jennifer Van Hemert, Chase Van Hemert and Matthew Van Hemert; granddaughter, Sloane Van Hemert Deignan; brother, John (Iva) Van Hemert; and sister, Jana (Jim) Brotherton.
