Clarence “Glen” Gunn Jr., passed away Monday, September 25, 2017 at Kobacker House following a brief illness. While faced with many health challenges his positive outlook was an inspiration to everyone he knew. Glen was born in Great Bend, KS; he is survived by his wife, Marilyn; daughters, Sheri (Keith), Sharon (Paul); brother, Gary (Sarah) Gunn, Bowling Green, KY; sister, Susan Williams, Vidor, TX; sister-in-law, Barb (Jim) Lomax, Shepherd, MT; niece, Jeannie (Ed) Cecil, Spencer, OH; nephew, John (Darcy) Mclenahan, Billings, MT; and numerous nieces and nephews. Glen graduated from West Orange High School, Orange, TX, and earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Graceland University, Lamoni, IA. He spent his career working in retail management.

Family and friends may visit 2-4:00 pm on Sunday, October 1 at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, OH 43110. A memorial service, will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 3 at St. Albans Episcopal Church, 333 S Drexel Ave., Columbus, OH 43209. Inurnment will take place on a later date. The family would like to thank the caring staff at The James Cancer Hospital and Kobacker House. In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations can be made in Glen’s memory to the National Kidney Foundation, 2800 Corporate Exchange Dr., Columbus, OH 43231.
