Delbert Lowell Smith

Delbert “Butch” Lowell Smith Jr., age 68, of Lancaster, OH passed away February 2, 2018 at his residence. He was born April 22, 1949 in Columbus, OH to the late Delbert and Anna Smith. Butch was a proud Vietnam Veteran and served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of the Central Ohio Coon Hunters Assoc.

Preceded in death by his wife Clynthia Smith; two sisters, Delores Macdowell and Debora Smith. Survivors include his two children, Stephen Smith and Lori (Scott) Clark; three grandchildren, Tyler Smith, Alex Clark and Chase Clark; sister, Darlene “Sue” Roush; and brother-in-law, Jack (Rita) Bragg.

Family and friends may visit 5-7:00pm on Tuesday, February 6, at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St. Canal Winchester, OH 43110 with a funeral service to follow at 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to St. Jude’s Hospital, 1335 Dublin Rd # 1008, Columbus, OH 43215.
