Delrene Bailey-Siler, 51, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 21, 2017, at the Kobacker House; due to complications from pancreatic cancer. She was born May 31, 1966 in Columbus, Ohio and resided in Canal Winchester.
She obtained a degree of Associate of Applied Science & also a Bachelor of Business Management degree. Delrene devoted her life to her children and all of their sporting events over the years. She loved the first kick in karate, the sound of the bat connecting with the ball out to center field and the words touchdown from the crowds. She also loved to cook wonderful dinners for her family. She had a heart so big; she always wanted to make life better for everyone.
She is preceded in death by her father, Jim Bailey; brother, Mike Bailey; sisters, Terri Russell and Stephanie Bailey-Noriega; grandparents, Velma Irene Spencer, Stanley Spencer, Della Mae Bailey and Albert Bailey. Delrene is survived by her husband, Michael Davis; mother, Sheila Bailey; children, Corey Siler, Matthew Davis, Michael Billingsley, Brandon Davis and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and grandchildren.
A private graveside service to be held on a later date. Inurnment at Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, OH. Arrangements by Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home & Crematory, Canal Winchester.
All are invited to attend a Celebration of Life that will be held at Gender Road Christian Church, 5336 Gender Rd. Canal Winchester Ohio 43110, Saturday, August 5, at 12 pm at the Shelter House near the rear of the church. Also please note there is a memorial fund listed under their website in memory of Delrene Siler Davis. Following the Celebration of Life, all are invited to the Paddock Pub, 1005 Richardson Rd, Groveport OH 43125.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Delrene’s memory can be made to the James Cancer and Research Center, 1480 W. Lane Ave., Columbus, OH 43221.
