Elaine Hanley

D. Elaine Hanley, age 84, of Canal Winchester, died Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Winchester Place, where she had been a resident for several years. Born December 11, 1932 in Youngstown to the late James Vincent and Mary Catherine (Rhinehart) Hanley, she was a retired nurse’s aide at Alum Crest. She was an avid OSU fan and had a love for animals.
She is survived by her sister, Margaret (Fred) Smith, Canal Winchester; brother, James (Nancy) Hanley, Lancaster; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit 2-4 & 6-8 pm Thursday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, where funeral services will be held 11 am Friday with the Rev. Fr. John Reade officiating. Interment will follow at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens.
