Donna Jean Baker

Donna J. Baker, age 76, of Columbus, died peacefully in her bed Monday, April 24, 2017. She was born March 7, 1941, in Columbus to the late Vernon and Marjorie Ruby.
Donna was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching her favorite teams, including the Ohio St. Buckeyes, Cincinnati Reds, and Cleveland Cavaliers. She looked forward to time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandson. Preceded in death by her husband, Everett Baker; son-in-law, Jamie Daye; great-grandson, Carter Richard Smythe. Donna is survived by her children, Christopher (Kristina) Baker, Brenda Daye; grandchildren, Christian Carl Cotton, Alexander Paul Cotton, Rachel Leanne Baker; great-grandson, Jason Alexander Cotton; siblings, Carolyn Styers, Verna Ruby, Carl Freeman, Cynthia Chinn; and many nieces and nephews.
For Donna’s wishes her body is being donated to the Ohio State University Department of Anatomy.
