Drexel Mitchell

Drexel D. Mitchell, age 88, passed away at his home Sunday, February 19, 2017. He was the son of the late Levi and Dinah Mitchell. Preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Drexel was a member of the Church, a graduate of the Chicago Institute of Technology, retired inspector from Rimrock Corp. in Columbus. He was a Staff Sergeant in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was very active in the Reserves for six years. Drexel is survived by loving wife, Ruby Jean; sister-in-law, Sue Roberts; two special nephews and nieces, Michael (Allison) Roberts, and David (Betty) Childers; and other nieces and nephews. Frank was a special caring friend to Drexel, and thanks to all the Health Care People.
Family and friends may visit 4-7:00 pm on Wednesday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, OH 43110 where a funeral service, officiated by Dr. William Snyder, will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday. Interment to follow at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens.
