Elbert Lonnie Cole, age 56, of Newark, OH passed away unexpectedly on January 8, 2018. He was born June 6, 1961 in Middletown, OH. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion. Elbert was an avid Ohio State Football fan and enjoyed fishing.
Preceded in death by his sister, Robin Kerns. Survivors include his wife of 2 years, Brenda Cole; five children, Kaitlyn Cole, Nikolas (Summer) Cole, Amber (Josh) Harvel, Robert Heskett and Alyssa Heskett; six grandchildren; parents, Bonnie and Gary Kyser; two sisters, Jennifer Hoff and Carrie Raver; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and dear friends.
Family and friends may visit 2-5:00pm on Sunday, January 14, at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERALHOME, 650 W. Waterloo St. Canal Winchester, OH 43110. A funeral service will begin at 10:00am on Monday, January 15, at the funeral home. Interment at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
