Ellen E. Parsley, 82, of Pickerington, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 7, 1935 in Martin County, Kentucky, to the late Sam and Eva Endicott, she was a tireless minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Affectionately known as Mother Parsley, she was a founding member of World Harvest Church, where she faithfully served as Chief Operating Officer for over 30 years. Ellen is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Pastor Rod and Joni Parsley; grandchildren, Amy Michell King, Ashton Blaire Parsley, and Austin Chandler Parsley; brother, Edward (Joyce) Endicott; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, James Parsley; and their daughter, Debbie Sue Parsley-King; brothers, Danny and Willis Endicott; and sisters, Clara Hale, Myrtle Jude, and Naomi Endicott. Mrs. Parsley’s unwavering support was essential to the birth, growth, and continuing success of World Harvest Church, Breakthrough, and many other ministry entities. As a wife, mother, grandmother, advisor, confidant, and friend, her contributions have been inestimable and will be irreplaceable. Friends may visit from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at World Harvest Church, 4595 Gender Rd., Canal Winchester, OH 43110, where a funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, February 2, 2018, with Elder Bill Canfield officiating and Pastor Rod Parsley giving the eulogy.
