Garland Junior Tatterson

Garland Tatterson Jr., of Groveport, died Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Brookdale Lakeview Crossing in Groveport. He was born in Watertown, Ohio to the late Garland and Mrytle Tatterson. Garland was a graduate of Belpre High School, he then received his Bachelors from Marietta College and Masters from Ohio University. Garland was an active member of Asbury United Methodist Church. He worked as an accountant for Acme Steel where he retired after 42 years. In his free time, Garland enjoyed reading.
He is preceded in death by his son, Eric Tatterson; son-in-law, Tim Gallaway; sister, Bettie Linton.
Garland is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Betty; children, Lisa Gallaway, Judy (Tony) Gage; grandsons, Tim Gallaway, Richard Gage.
A memorial service will be 11:00 am on Monday, September 25 at Asbury United Methodist Church, 4760 Winchester Pike, Columbus, OH 43232.
