Gregory Charles Karoly

Gregory Charles Karoly, age 78, of Pickerington, OH passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Greg was born in Cleveland, OH to the late Charles and Elizabeth Karoly.
He spent 35 years as an Engineer for Western Electric/AT&T/Lucent Technologies where he became a world traveler and enjoyed experiencing exotic cuisines.
He is deeply missed and survived by his loving wife of 56 years, RoseMarie Karoly; children, Edward (Cyndi) Karoly, Kathleen (Ben Carr) Karoly, and Doug (Amy) Karoly; grandchildren, Roman, Josh, Nathan and Abby Karoly; great grandchild, Nico Bales; and siblings, Alice (Quentin) Middendorf and Walter Karoly.
Greg was a man of many interests and hobbies. This lover of clocks was an avid kayaker, spelunker, as well as a licensed pilot. He was a proud Pickerington resident who became an active board member of the Pickerington Historical Society where he learned to repair the reed organs. Greg also dabbled in the arts during his retirement and painted watercolors and blew glass.
Friends are welcome to visiting hours Saturday, April 20, from 11-1PM with a memorial service to immediately follow at 1PM at DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 550 HILL RD N PICKERINGTON, OHIO 43147. Memorial donations may be made to the Pickerington Historical Society.
