Henry Stout

Henry Allen Stout, age 87, of Pickerington, Ohio, formerly of Vienna, West Virginia, died July 16, 2017 at his residence. He was born January 30, 1930 in McCutchenville, Ohio to the late Charles Lawrence and Mary Kachele Stout. After his mother died when he was eight months old, he was then raised by his sister, Edith Chaney.

His life was a testimony of his love for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He graduated from Upper Sandusky high school and was a long-time resident of Wyandot County. He served in the United States Navy and taught carpentry in the Washington County Vocational School. He was considered to be a jack of trades, enjoyed wood working and gardening. But he was most proud of his family.

He was preceded in death by his son, Joel Stout; parents; four brothers and six sisters. Survivors include his loving wife of 64 years, Wanda Parsell Stout; seven daughters, Rebecca (Tom) Lydy, Angela (John) Reviere, Linda (Harry) Deffenbaugh, Laurie (Evan) Baisden, Sharon Shockey, Barbara Silber and Elizabeth Stout; daughter-in-law, Debbie Townsend; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Ann Baker; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will begin at 2:00pm at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 550 Hill Rd. N. Pickerington, OH 43147 on Thursday, July 20 with a reception for friends and family to follow.
