Jane Ellen Schmitz

Jane E. Schmitz, age 88, of Pickerington, Ohio, passed away on September 10, 2017. She was born September 25, 1928 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Ralph and Nettie Evans. Preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Ray; and her brothers, Ralph Jr. and William Evans; Jane is survived by her daughters Jane Ann (Jay) Snipes and Marie (Michael) Ellis; grandchildren, Rachel (Brendan) Ross and Justin Ellis; great-grandchildren, Millicent, Andersen and Marielle Ross; sister-in-law, Rita Schmitz, O.S.F.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be remembered as a loving wife and mother. Private services will be held. Arrangements by the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME.
