I was blessed to have had worked with John, albeit for a short period of time before he took ill again. His obvious love for Sine was such a delight to observe! His well rounded knowledge of not only electrical and lighting but arts and literature were source for great conversation.
My heart goes out to you Sine. I know how devastating the loss of one's soul mate can be. I lost my husband in 2010 - unprepared for that outcome. If I can be of any help through the adjustment period, the emotions - I am here.

I tried to reach Sine Marie several times after Keely’ post to Lauren but was never able to connect. We last saw John about a year sgo at Roush Hardware and chatted for 25 minutes or so. John seemed ok then. Our small class of 1951 grows ever smaller. We are saddened by John’s passing and share your loss. Our deepest sympathies. Babette and Jim

I am so happy to have known John. He was my associate in engineering and construction of public works projects for Columbus. I admired him because of his breath of interests in arts and humanities and technology and life -- a rare combination. He will be a valuable asset to those in the heavenly afterlife but sorely missed down here.

John was a great contributor to all of us here on planet earth. I particularly remember his time . effort and knowledge in the rescue of all the expensive pumps, motors heaters when the pool at the Columbus Academy was flooded in seventies..I hope he didn't suffer in the transition from this world.
