The Central Ohio All Airborne Chapter of the 82nd Airborne Division Association sends its deepest condolences. Joe was an All American Life Member of our group. It is always tough to lose an Airborne Trooper. Our group will be purchasing a memorial brick at the Ohio Fallen Heroes Memorial in Sunbury, OH in his honor.

We are so sorry to hear of Joe passing. He was a cool, funny guy. We always talk about Dennis's retirement party, when we all got together to celebrate. That was the first time I had met Joe. I always remember how outward and funny he was.
Our hearts go out to all of you, we know he will be greatly missed. Keep your memories close to you and may they bring you the kindest comfort when you need it.
Love to all, Dennis and Janice Weigman

Our family wishes to send prayers to the Weigman family in this sad time. We grew up across the street from the Weigmans and spent many summers running around with the kids. Joe will be missed. We are so sorry for your family's loss.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Although I only had the pleasure of meeting Joey once when we all met in Cumberland, he was so funny, I think Ed and I both laughed the better part of the night while we ate crabs. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers...

To the Weigman family, I am so sorry for your loss. Joe was a great friend of mine for many years. We served in the same unit during deployment, and on many other occasions. He proudly served his country with honor and dedication. He spoke often, with such pride, of his girls Rachel and Erica. Please know that you in my prayers. Rest in peace Joe.
