Linda Rebtoy

Linda Darlene Rebtoy, 72, of Reynoldsburg, died on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her husband and daughters. Born on October 19, 1945 to the late Jack and Peg (Smith) Snyder, Linda was a 1963 graduate of Latrobe High School in Latrobe, PA and a graduate of the Columbus Technical Institute. Linda worked for Mount Carmel East Hospital as an LPN for over 20 years. She was an avid gardener, seamstress, artist and rug hooker. Linda also loved antiquing and was an amazing cook. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Russell Rebtoy; daughters, Christy (Steve) Egler, Carrie (Tim) Clayton, and Cheri (Marc) Kamer; grandchildren, Jessica (Sean) Hutton, Kelsey Egler, Joshua Egler, Allie (Tyler) Kensler, Tommy Clayton, Olivia Kamer, and Owen Kamer; great-grandchildren, Preslee and Sloann Hutton; brother, Jim (Patt) Snyder; sister-in-law, Norma Rebtoy; niece, Kimm (Tim) Vincent; nephews, Doug Snyder, Scott Rebtoy, Tracy Rebtoy, Carl Roach, and David Rebtoy; her daughters’ Godmother, Jeanne Alexander; her Godson, Brian (Katelyn) Alexander; and many close friends. Linda was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Edna Rebtoy McGuire; brothers-in-law, Charles Rebtoy and Ted Rebtoy; and her sister-in-law, Liz Roach. Friends may visit from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 550 Hill Rd. N., Pickerington, OH 43147, where a funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
