Mildred "Mickey" Ginunas, age 85, of Hamilton Township, has recently passed away from a brief illness. Heaven has welcomed a beautiful angel that this world will surely miss. Mickey was a proud mother of six children and a dedicated military wife who was able to travel to many parts of the world. She retired from JCPenney after 25 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Ginunas; brothers, George Cribbs, Thomas Cribbs and Patrick Cribbs; Sister, Bessie Batten. She is survived by her brother, Samuel Cribbs; children, George (Cheryl) Ginunas, Robert Ginunas, Ragina (Joe) Lacalamita, Anna (Jeff) Krigbaum, Ricky Ginunas and Alicia (Pat) Toney; grandchildren, Jennifer Foiles, George Ginunas, Nicole Wilson, Shaun Ginunas, Tyler Ginunas, Melinda Ginunas, Lisa Lacalamita, Joseph Lacalamita, Jeffrey Krigbaum, Marcus Krigbaum, Alex Krigbaum, Faith Krigbaum, Vanessa Callis, Chaz Albaugh, Zach Ginunas, Leia Ginunas, Vaughn Ginunas, Shanna Kefauver and Ronny Greene; and many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit Friday, July 28th, from 3-6 PM, at the Dwayne R Spence Funeral Home, 650 W Waterloo St, Canal Winchester. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 29th at Dwayne R Spence Funeral Home, immediately followed by a brief graveside service at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Mildred's name to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
