Patricia Ann Meloy

Patricia A. Meloy, age 88, of Lithopolis, died Thursday, February 1, 2018 at her residence. She was born June 28, 1929 in Columbus to the late Edward and Martha Herderick. She was a graduate of Groveport High School. Pat was a member of Lithopolis United Methodist Church for over 50 years, where she also served as Sunday School Superintendent, was a part of the Dorcas Circle UMW and the Church Choir. She was a member of the Groveport O.E.S. #440. Pat attended Spirit of Hope United Methodist in Phoenix, AZ for 12 years and also volunteered during that time at Southwest Indian Ministry Center in Peoria, AZ. She is preceded in death by her husband, Millard Meloy; son, William Meloy; brothers, Robert Herderick, Ed Herderick, Bill Herderick; sisters, Mary Leonard, Jean Thompson. Pat is survived by her children, Pamela (Jim) Da Ross, Sue (Robert) Miller, Mel (Rita) Meloy; grandchildren, Kelly Dowling, Nathan (Jme) and Nicholas (Becky) McIlwain, Salena (Ned) LeMaster, Samantha Miller, Shannon (Liz) and Shaun (Amy) Meloy; great-grandchildren, Drew, Alex and Ammy McIlwain, Caden, Madison, Helena and Noah Meloy, Hal LeMaster ; Pam, Sue and Mel were my pride and joy and their children and my great grandchildren; sisters, Eileen Lafler, Dorothy Baker; many nieces and nephews. Family and friends may visit 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Friday, February 9, at the Lithopolis United Methodist Church, 80 N. Market St, Lithopolis, OH 43136, where a funeral service, officiated by Pastor Charles Martindell, will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 10. Interment Lithopolis Cemetery. At Pat’s request, she would like everyone to wear brightly colored clothing to services. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pat’s memory can be made to the Lithopolis United Methodist Church.
