Dr. Paul Eugene McMullen

Dr. Paul Eugene McMullen, age 82, of Leesburg, FL, formerly of Pickerington, passed away November 25, 2016 in Florida. He was the son of the late Alvin Dale and Laura Opal (Cutlip) McMullen, and was born March, 21,1934 in Akron, Ohio.
Dr. McMullen was a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army Medical Corp and was a veteran of Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He was a former Mayor of Pickerington, Past-President of the Pickerington Lions Club, member Of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and American Legion, as well as delivering many babies into this world.
He is survived by a son, Mark McMullen and his wife Elena, Plain City, Ohio; daughters, Jean Dorsey and husband Michael, Indiana, and Carol Pinnola, Groveport, Ohio; brother, Lloyd McMullen; sisters, Ruth Gibson and Linda Estlund; granddaughters, Antonia, Caitlin, Rachel, Ilinca, and Sophia; and great grandchild, Celara.
Friends may visit 5-7 pm Tuesday, March 21 at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 550 Hill Road N. (St. Rt. #256), Pickerington, where a memorial service will follow at 7 pm.
