So sorry to hear of PJ"s passing. The memories will linger on , especially the days of the Shadeville training center . Walter , Harry , Sonny , Max , Earl , and Captain Kirk are all gone , and now Pearl . I loved the picture and shared it with people who always asked how Pearl was . Unfortunately , I had not seen him for 25 years or so . He was his own man , you knew where you stood with him. I remember the boys when they were teens , helping Dad with the horses.Again , my condolences to the family He will not soon be forgotten. Mike Davis

I had a lot of fun racing horses with PJ, especially Mighty Flatout.. He got my dad (Dayle) in the jogcart for a wild ride that we still laugh about. May you rest in peace cowboy.

One of the greatest men that ever lived....and I said that when he was alive. He was my granddaughter's grandfather. He treated her like a little queen - and I thank him from the bottom of my heart for that. He left her w lots of wonderful memories. He always made you feel welcome in his home and his generosity was beyond anything I've known. If there is a way to bring a brown bear onto the gates of heaven.......P.J. will find a way! I am wishing the family all the LOVE there is. Be Blessrd.

I'm heartbroken to lose a great man like P.J. He always had my back when necessary. We would play practical jokes on each other as often as we could, just to see who could out do the other. I'm going to miss him dearly. My heartfelt condolences to Sandi and family.

Sandi,
Know that you are in Linda's and my prayers through this difficult time. I have such great memories of working with Pearl at CESCO and Star. He was everything his obituary says he was and that is what made him the great individual he was. If you waited long enough after a "conversation" with Pearl your reward would come. That smile. Barely visible, but there it was. He once told me after a "conversation" that I liked a challenge. I just turned and walked away and he said "I see that smile.'" Yes he did.
May the Lord bless you and keep you.
May the Lord make his face to shine upon you,
and be gracious to you.
May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you,
and give you peace.
