Roy Allen Swartz

Roy Allen Swartz, age 61, of Canal Winchester, passed away at his home on Sunday, July 23, 2017. He was born December 6, 1955. Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Lois Swartz. Roy is survived by his wife of 30 years, Renee; his children, Jennifer (Josh) and Jeremy (Ashley); his grandchildren, Zaine, Aalyiah, Isaiah, and Evan; his brother, Carl. Roy provided the gift of laughter and friendship to anyone who crossed his path, which was often in the aisles of Meijer. He was a jack of all trades: cooking, couponing, woodworking, and most of all, loving his family.

Friends may visit 12-2 or 4-6 pm on Sunday, July 30 at the Dwayne R Spence Funeral Home, 650 Waterloo St, Canal Winchester. Funeral service will be held at 1 pm Monday, July 31 at David's United Church of Christ, 80 West Columbus St, Canal Winchester. Interment at Union Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Canal Winchester Food Pantry.
