Shirley Malone

Shirley Ann Malone, age 78, of Columbus, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at her residence. She was born September 27, 1939 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Jack and Annabelle DuVall.
Shirley was a member of First Baptist Church of Groveport. She enjoyed playing the organ, quilting and traveling. Shirley was a loving and caring mom and grandma; she cherished time spent with her family.
Shirley is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Charles Malone Sr.; children, Charles “Chuck” (Lisa) Malone Jr., Jeffrey Malone, Melissa (Doyle) Lindsey; her precious grandchildren, Nicole and Nicholas Lindsey; sister, Dorothy (Chuck) Frye; along with many nieces, nephews and other beloved friends and family. Family and friends may visit 11-1:00 pm on Tuesday, October 3 at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, OH 43110 where a funeral service, officiated by Dr. Greg Cooper, will follow at 1:00 pm.
Interment Franklin Hills Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Shirley’s memory can be made to a church of your choice or the Groveport Food Pantry.
