Andrew Putz

Andrew D. Putz, a devoted father, loving husband, and dear friend, passed away at the age of 66 on November 10, 2023, at his home surrounded by family. Born on July 7, 1957, in McKeesport, PA, to the late Andrew and F. Evelyn (Wesloski) Putz.
Andy earned his Masters Degree in Finance and Business at the University of Pittsburgh. He spent 18 ½ years as a Budget Analyst at the Ohio Department of Administrative Services before retiring. Andy, married to Bernadette, had a daughter named Elizabeth. A proud father, he not only loved his daughter deeply but also shared special moments with her, bonding over their mutual love for Polkas and reading. From library visits to lively Polka tunes, Andy created lasting memories with Elizabeth.
His passion for music extended to various genres, with The Rolling Stones holding a special place in his heart. Andy's vibrant spirit, wit, and love for cultural pursuits, trains, books, and family will be fondly remembered. His legacy lives on through his wife of 34 years, Bernadette (Bolak) Putz, daughter Elizabeth Putz, and numerous friends and loved ones.

A Catholic Burial Mass will be held Friday, November 17, 2023 at 11am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, 600 Hill Rd N, Pickerington, OH 43147. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Pickerington Public Library, St. Vincent De Paul Society, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, or Pickerington Special Olympics
