Barbara M Glassburn

Barbara M. Glassburn, age 59, of Canal Winchester, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at McNaughten Pointe Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family. Barbara was born May 20, 1963 to Ronald Sr and Barbara (White) Burkhard in Springfield, Ohio. She graduated from Bishop Ready Catholic High School class of 1981. Following her high school career, she worked proudly for the State of Ohio for 33 years.

Barbara was known for her charitable and kind heart, giving back to her community from helping the Lincoln Village Lions Club, to volunteering with the "Norman DeHaas Annual Holiday Sewing Project" to collect and repair toys to be donated to underprivileged children for the holidays. She cherished times spent at the beach with her family, being able to see dolphins and sea turtles. Barbara ultimately loved the time she spent with her family & friends creating memories that will never be forgotten.

Barbara is preceded in death by her mother, Barbara J. Wiles; maternal grandparents, Michael & Edna White; and paternal grandparents Edmund & Anna Burkhard Sr.

She is survived by her Father, Ronald Burkhard Sr; wonderful daughter, Samantha Kantor; son-in-law, Bradley Kantor Jr; beautiful grandchildren, Hayden, Mason, and Kayla; siblings, Ronald (Maria) Burkhard Jr., Cynthia (Aaron) Gullett, and Kimberly (Craig Wall) Gray; close and special friends, Marsha McClure, Becky Kyle, and Charlia Reeves; special nieces, nephews, Taylor Gullett, Adam (Brandi) Gullett, Eden (Steve) Blair, Bobby (Jessica) Gray, Aaron (Amanda) Gullett, Kristal (Tony) Pastorek and other loved ones.

Friends are welcome to visit Monday, May 22, 2023 from 1-3PM with a service following at 3PM. Potted uncut flower arrangements are preferred, the family would like to be able to plant the flowers for a garden in memory of Barbara.
