Barbara A. Shirley

Barbara A. Shirley, age 86, of Groveport, died Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Born May 9, 1937 in Nelsonville, Ohio to the late Howard F. and Ruth M. (Thacker) Call. She attended Groveport United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Roy E. Shirley; children, Steven Shirley, John (Dee) Shirley, and Gina (Richard) Barber; grandsons, John David (Leann) Shirley, Joe (Katie) Barber, Josh (Michelle) Barber, Jake Barber, Jonathan (Greta) Barber; several great-grandchildren; brothers, Rodney Call and David Call; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Shirley in 2019; brothers, Roger “Joe” Call and Eddie Call; and sisters, Jean Evans and Doris Campbell.
Friends may visit 11 am to 1 pm Thursday, May 25 at the Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, where funeral service will follow at 1 pm with Pastor Jonathan Mann officiating. Interment after at Groveport Cemetery.
