Beverly K Roberts

Beverly Kane Roberts, aged 87 of Millersport, Ohio, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023 at Middleton Assisted Living in Granville, Ohio.  

Born October 2, 1935 in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lawrence and Elizabeth Theresa (Wachaya) Kane.

Beverly had earned master’s degrees in both education and theology. She was formally a dental hygienist assistant. Beverly was past president of both the Dental Hygienist Association and Roberts Service Group. She was a former vocalist for St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Goodyear, Arizona and a long-time music instructor to many. Beverly was a former member of the Sierra Club and was very active in the Catholic Church ministry.

Beverly is survived by her loving husband, Richard Yance “Dick” Roberts; two sons, Richard Yance (Michele) Roberts Jr. of Carroll, Ohio and Anthony Lawrence (Amanda) Roberts of Millersport; one daughter, Elizabeth Theresa (Kyle) Butler of Millersport; seven grandchildren; Sean (Julia), Joseph, Logan, Emma, And Brynlee Roberts and Robert (Kayla) and Bailey Butler; two sisters, Carol (James Snyder) Kane of Goodyear, Arizona and Brenda (Bob) Cuschleg of Columbus, Ohio; one brother, Terry (Kathy) Kane of Columbus, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara (Anthony) Colizzi.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 20, 2023 at the Church of the Resurrection in New Albany, Ohio with Father Denis S. Kigozi and Deacon Roger F. Pry.

Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Lockbourne, Ohio.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Spence Funeral Home in Canal Winchester, Ohio.
