Bonnie Laposki, nee Riser, was born August 1, 1933 in Columbus, Ohio during the height of the Great Depression. Bonnie was the youngest of William and Martha Riser nee Baxter’s 7 children. Bonnie passed away peacefully, being cared for by family, in Lewis Center, Ohio on May 26, 2023.
Bonnie is pre-deceased by long-time spouse Louis Laposki and beloved son Bill Laposki.
Bonnie was a kind and gentle soul and will be missed by daughter and son-in-law, Jacki and John Carlson; daughter and son-in-law, Chris and David Dunlap; daughter-in-law, Pam Laposki; niece, Linda Solt; grandchildren, Jessie and Joey Carlson, Alicia Dunlap and Melanie Laposki; and many other family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held for Bonnie at Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home, 650 West Waterloo Street, Canal Winchester, Ohio 43110 on Tuesday, June 6, 2023. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with the service to immediately follow with the Rev. Frank Priddy officiating. Bonnie will be interred at Franklin Hills Memorial Gardens, 5802 Elder Road, Canal Winchester, Ohio 43110.
