Bonnie Lee LeFever

December 20, 1942 ~ March 7, 2018 (age 75)

Bonnie Lee LeFever, 75, of Columbus, Ohio died Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Mount Carmel East Hospital in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. She is the beloved mother of her 4 children, Penny (Jonathan) Davidson of Lithopolis, Ohio, Diana LeFever of Pataskala, Ohio, Michael LeFever, Dustin LeFever both of Columbus, Ohio; 3 grandsons, Jerrod Conner, Specialist Jacob Conner both of Lithopolis, Ohio, Dawson Rutkowski of Pataskala, Ohio; great-grandson Chase Michael Conner of Lithopolis, Ohio; siblings, Ross Lee (Joan) Rooker, Sr. of Maryland, Ann (Charles) Schwalbach of Lancaster, Ohio, Mary Alma Rooker and Virginia Rogers both of Maryland, Robert L. Rooker, Jr. of Lancaster, Ohio; and her beloved dog, Nita. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Everett LeFever, parents, Robert Lee Rooker Sr. and Mary Kathryn Rooker. Bonnie Lee Rooker was born on December 20, 1942. She traveled throughout her childhood as her father was in the United States Army. She graduated from Mannheim American High School class of 1961 in Mannheim Germany where she enjoyed tennis, fencing and cheerleading. After high school, she briefly attended Cook County School of Nursing in Illinois. She resided in Lancaster, Ohio for many years. She was a member of the St Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lancaster, Ohio. Bonnie had many passions. She dearly loved her family. She loved animals, and would care for those animals without a home by frequently feeding them and taking them to get spayed/neutered. She loved feeding her birds, and watching her adopted groundhog Bucky Blossom who is with her in heaven. Bonnie said there was never a flower she didn’t love and enjoyed gardening and being outside with nature. And let’s not forget her love for ice cream! Bonnie was a very giving person and didn’t want those around her to make a fuss over her. While in her last years, she indicated her wishes to not have a memorial service.
