Brandon James Theiss

Brandon James Theiss, age 39, of Pickerington, died July 26, 2018 at Mount Carmel West. He was born December 1, 1978 in Atlanta, Georgia. Brandon graduated from Ohio Dominican University and received his Masters in Special Education from Antioch University. He was a middle school special education teacher for Grandview Heights School District and previously taught for Canal Winchester Schools. He loved sports- especially the Cincinnati Reds. Brandon played baseball for Westerville South and was a pitcher for Ohio Dominican.

Brandon is survived by his loving wife, Janel; his two daughters, Aylah and Kenley; parents, Duane and Mary Beth Theiss; siblings, Kelly Theiss and Zach Theiss; parent-in-laws, Randy and Erma Sickmeier; sister-in-law, Janae (Chris) Bryant; brothers-in-law, Jared Thomas and Joel Sickmeier; many dear friends and family members.

Friends may visit 4-8 pm Tuesday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 550 Hill Road North, Pickerington, Ohio 43147 where a funeral service will take place at 12:00 pm Wednesday.
