Carl W. Mead

Carl W. Mead, age 84, of Pickerington, formerly of Gibsonville, NC and Union, NJ, died Monday, September 6, 2021 at his residence. Born March 21, 1937 in Scranton, PA to the late James R. and Winifred Mead, he was a graduate of Springfield (NJ) High School, and attended Central Bible Institute in Springfield, MO. He was retired from American Products in Union, NJ, and attended Eastside Vineyard Church in Pickerington.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jeanette; children, Cheryl Laird and Mark (Diana) Mead; grandchildren, Sidney and Kyle Mead; and brother-in-law, Joseph Pentka.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Ray Mead; and sisters-in-law, Lavone Sakowich and Delores Kalafian.
A memorial service will be held 10 am Saturday, September 11 at Columbus Vineyard Church, East Campus, 333 Jericho Rd., Pickerington, OH with Pastor Charles Montgomery officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until the time of service, and a reception will follow the service at the church.
