Cynthia “Cindy” Laihr, age 70, of Pickerington, died Monday, November 9, 2020 at Winchester Rehab in Canal Winchester. Born February 8, 1950 in Columbus to the late Francis Paul and Hannah Helen (Hughes) Laihr, she was a 1968 graduate of Bishop Hartley High School and was a graduate of Capital University. She was a retired nurse from Nationwide Children’s Hospital with 45 years of service.
Cindy is survived by her brothers, Frank (Diane) Laihr, Nashport, and Peter Laihr, Blacklick; nephews, Francis Paul Laihr, III, Peter (Marti) Laihr, Robert (Michele) Laihr, James Joseph Laihr; nieces, Mandy Odom, Stephanie Dickinson, and Andrea Shaffer.
She was preceded in death by her brother, James Joseph Laihr; and sister-in-law, Vicki Laihr.
A graveside service will be held 11 am Monday, Nov. 16 at St. Joseph Cemetery in Lockbourne with Fr. William Arnold officiating.
