Damian Andrzej Augustyniak

Damian Augustyniak, 38, of Canal Winchester, died on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Mount Carmel West Hospital in Columbus.
Born on June 13, 1978 in Kalisz, Poland, Damian was a 1997 graduate of Groveport Madison High School, where he played on the basketball team. He enjoyed working on cars and was a very talented woodworker.
Damian is survived by his parents, Elzbieta (Ryszard) Rejmisz and Jozef (Larysa) Augustyniak; sister, Magdalena (Mike) Streby; brother, Arkadiusz (Cheryl) Augustyniak; nieces, Amanda Augustyniak, Morgan Streby, Abby Augustyniak, and McKenzie Streby; and his beloved dogs Baba and Cora.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Barbara and Marian Dolata and Wiktor and Elzbieta Augustyniak in Poland.
Friends may visit from 4 – 7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 550 Hill Rd. N., Pickerington, OH 43147, where a memorial service will follow at 7:00 p.m.
Interment will take place at 11 a.m. on March 1, 2017 at Violet Cemetery in Pickerington.
