Daniel Leroy Hartman

Daniel Leroy Hartman, age 88, of Thurston, OH passed away Sunday, August 12, 2018. He was born March 24, 1930 in Irvington, KY to the late William and Anna Hartman. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corp and United States Air Force for 37 years. Daniel was a member of the American Legion. Preceded in death by his 5 brothers and 5 sisters-in-law.

Survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Shirley Hartman; four children, Richard (Tammy) Hartman, Jonathan (Jody) Hartman, Randolph (Treva) Hartman and Melodie (Larry) Berry; 18 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may visit 6-8:00pm Wednesday, August 15, at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St. Canal Winchester, OH 43110. A funeral service officiated by Pastor Jill Dunlop will begin at 10:00am on Thursday, August 16, at the funeral home. Interment will be at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens. Donations may be made in his name to Fairhope Hospice.
