Danielle Wells

October 5, 1995 ~ March 14, 2020 (age 24) 24 Years Old

Tribute

Danielle Renee Wells, age 24, of Canal Winchester passed away suddenly after having a seizure at home on Saturday, March 14, 2020. We are all intensely saddened by her loss. Everyone who knew her loved her so much. She was her mom's world and her mom was hers. She and her mother fought every day for the best life possible for her.

Danielle was born on October 5, 1995 to Tammy Huffman Cochrun and Adam Wells in Delaware, Ohio. After her mother married David Cochrun, he unofficially adopted Danielle and became a devoted loving father to her. She graduated from Canal Winchester High School in 2014. Afterwards she focused on living life to the fullest within her abilities.

She found her passion working in child care. She worked at Bright Side Academy Daycare with toddlers who stole her heart. She wanted her own children so badly someday, so working with children tremendously filled that hole in her heart. She experienced and gave that motherly love in the best way she could.

Danielle held out hope for the day she'd be allowed to drive, but she always had such caring, understanding, true lifelong friends and family she could count on. Most of her friends, including her best friend Alex, she had since middle and high school. As the years moved on, she was the glue that kept their group together. She refused to let them all separate over time. Then she found the man she wanted to spend the rest of her life with - David Stephens. She felt blessed to find this level of love. Danielle had adopted 2 kittens, Marshmallow and Peanut who were her children. They will miss her so much.

Danielle appreciated any kind of art, but she especially loved to draw. She was very talented. She always dreamed of a career in interior design. She also loved animals and enjoyed going to the zoo.
She had an amazing opportunity this past summer. Danielle and her sister, Brianna went on a month-long road trip out west and down south to New Orleans with Papaw Dan. She took well over 2,000 pictures on that vacation and had never seen such beauty. They were all going back this Summer. We all know she'll be there everywhere Papaw and Brianna go.

Danielle is survived by her loving mother, Tammy Cochrun; father, David Cochrun; father, Adam Wells; 3 siblings, Bradley, Brianna and Cierra; grandparents, Dan and Diane Huffman; James and Peggy Wells, and Heidi Coffman; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A special thanks to Dr. Getachew who loved Danielle as his own and to Alex, her best friend. Five minutes or 3,000 miles never separated them.
