Darrell Todd

Darrell Marden Todd, 87, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, October 26, 2018. Preceded in his heavenly journey by wives, Phyllis Jean Turner and Lynda Ellen Hicks; parents, Marden and Eleanor Todd, and brother Dayton M. Todd. Darrell was a loving father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend to many. He had a lifelong passion for building and flying airplanes, obtaining his pilot’s license when he was only 17 yrs. old. He graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering and worked at Rockwell International for 35 years. Darrell was very active in the City of Whitehall, having served as President of City Council, Ward 4 Councilman, Service Director and Safety Director. Darrell was also active in church for many years, serving on boards and committees and serving in the Emmaus Community.

Left to cherish his memory is son, Randy (Jennifer) Todd; daughter, Brenda (Garey) Borgan; stepchildren, Susan (Ron) Savoia and Michael (Marichu) Woodyard; grandchildren, Joel (Cortney), Jill, Kyle, Erin, Alex, Gina, Carolyn, Sam, Mariel and Mark, and great grandson, Sumner. Darrell is also survived by sisters, Marlene Bolyard, Beth (Chuck) Livermore; and brother, Dick (Peggy) Todd; sisters-in-law, Juna Todd, Karen (Bill) Cost and Joy (Rick) Barnes; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Chris Goebel. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday November 17th at 11:00 a.m. at the Grace Fellowship Chapel, 575 Diley Rd. Pickerington. Arrangements by DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, Pickerington, OH.
