David William Brandt

David William Brandt, age 76, passed from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident in Urbana, Illinois on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 10:59pm central time. David was preceded in death by his parents, Eleanor and William Brandt; and his beloved wife, Kendra Brandt. He was a loving brother to Carolyn Florence, Bonnie Thompson and Patricia Caldwell. A wonderful brother-in-law to Lilian Kathleen Parrish and Sandra Richards. His children and their spouses, Jay and Ann Brandt, Amy (Brandt) and Charles Gregory Brock will miss him always. His grandchildren, Christopher, Isaac, Matthew, Therese, Ethan and Sarah will always miss him and know how proud of them he was. David served as a Marine in Vietnam and today is known as both a Christian, farmer, meme and the Godfather of Soil Health. David was an excellent steward of the land and taught many about its care worldwide. His larger than life presence will be missed by so many. Your honest work is done David, rest in peace.
