David Michael Merringer

David Michael Merringer, age 52, of Reynoldsburg, passed away on his father’s birthday Thursday, September 20, 2018 at his home. Born September 16, 1966 in Columbus, he was a 1984 graduate of Reynoldsburg High School and attended The Ohio State University. He was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Brandy Merringer; daughter, Katlynn (fiance, Derrick Robbins); son, Alexander; mother, Mary (Dr. Daniel) Weltner; sister, Judy (Philip) Krauskopf; step-sisters, Susan (Phil) Brunton, Leslie (Jason) Peck, Kristi Redd; step-brother, Daniel Weltner, Jr.; father- and mother-in-law, David and Linda Thomas; brothers-in-law, Cary (Anna) Thomas, Tracy (Kelly) Thomas; sister-in-law, Brooke Thomas; nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his father, William Joseph Merringer, who passed away when David was just two years old; and brother, William Joseph Merringer in 2002.
Friends may visit 2-5 pm Sunday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 550 Hill Road N. (St. Rt. #256), Pickerington. A Vigil Service will be held at the funeral home at 4:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 am Monday at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1051 Waggoner Rd., Reynoldsburg with Fr. David J. Young, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate.
