Donald Joseph Boesch

Boesch, Donald J. transitioned to the hands of the Lord on January 3, 2022 at Mount Carmel East Hospital. He was born July 6, 1943 in Columbus, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents Helen and Francis Boesch and in-laws Doris and Vint Neel. Don is survived by his wife of 54 years, Nancy (Neel) Boesch, sons and wives, Brian (Kim), Randy, and Keith (Amy). He leaves behind grandchildren: Alexa (Andy) Brown, Jakob Boesch, Jacob Schulz , Cameron Schulz, Kelsey (Steven) Hughes, Kaitlyn (Adam) Hindes, Zachary Boesch, Anna Boesch, Alex (Miranda) Jeffers, Abi (Emily) Jeffers, and Andrew (Megan) Jeffers. And 10 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sisters, Fran (Pat) Corkrean and Mary (Mike) Kachurak and sisters-in-law Dorothy (Bob) Johnson and Mary (Dennis) Rector of Wisconsin, and many nieces and nephews. After serving in the US Naval Reserves, Don joined Grange Mutual Insurance Company and retired from there in 1994. He enjoyed many years of tinkering around the house and tending to his many gardens and golfing with friends. He was happiest at Ocean Isle Beach, NC when his feet were in the sand and a fishing pole was in his hands. Don is a life member of Amvets Post OH89
Calling hours at Dwayne Spence Funeral Home, 550 Hill Rd. N. Pickerington, OH 43147 will be Sunday, 1/9/2022 from 2p-4p and 6p-8p. A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 600 Hill Rd. N. Pickerington, OH on Monday, 1/10/2022 at 10:30am, followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, 11539 National Road SW, Etna, OH.
