Donald H. Dreher

Donald “Don” Dreher was a doting husband, loving father, brother and friend. He passed away on November 21, 2022 at Fairmont Crossings in Amherst, VA. He was 81 years old. Don was born to Helen and Raymond Dreher on November 29, 1940. He grew up in Columbus Ohio with his two brothers, the late Jim Dreher and Raymond Dreher of Groveport, Ohio. After graduating from high school, he earned his Bachelors of Science degree from Ohio State University.
Don was married to his beloved wife, the late Mary Dreher, for 45 years. They had four children together; Douglas, Patrick, Susan and Traci.
Don enjoyed a long and rewarding professional career with Union Carbide, First Brands and Clorox Corporation before he retired in 1996.
He is survived by two sons, Douglas Dreher and his wife Kyoung of Kennewick, WA, and Patrick Dreher and his wife Carol of Amherst, VA; two daughters, Susan Dreher and her husband Gregg Markarian of New York, NY and Traci Pearl and her husband David of Bronx, NY. Don is also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and his dear friend Peggy Page.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester. A private interment will take place at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens in Canal Winchester.
