Dorothy M Evans

Dorothy M. Evans, age 100, of Brice, OH passed away May 27, 2021. She was born January 1, 1921 in Brice, OH to the late Lester and Wilda Motz. Dorothy worked for Columbus and Southern Ohio Electric for many years. She was a member of Brice United Methodist Church. Dorothy loved swimming, square dancing, hiking and camping.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Marion E. Evans Sr.; sister, Mabel (Ronald) Varner; and stepson, James Evans. Survivors include her stepchildren who she loved as her own, Harold (Jean) Evans, Richard Evans, Marion (Julia) Evans Jr., Sandy (David) Welling and Kenneth (Marilyn) Evans; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and two cousins, Paul Richard Hummell and Jane Lamp.

Family and friends may visit 9-10:30am on Wednesday, June 2, at Brice United Methodist Church, 3160 Brice Road Brice, Ohio 43109 with a funeral service to follow at 10:30am. Interment at Glen Rest Memorial Estate. Arrangements by DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, Pickerington, OH. Donations may be made in her name to Brice United Methodist Church.
