Dorothy L. Hockman

Dorothy L. Hockman, age 101, of Carroll, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at The Inn at Winchester Trail. Born October 21, 1920 in Lancaster to the late Louis & Mabel (Schacht) Boving. She was a 1938 graduate of Canal Winchester High School, a 1942 graduate of The Ohio State University, and was a member of David Evangelical Lutheran Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Marion Hockman in 1999; daughter, Gretchen Hockman in 2004; and brothers, John Boving and George William Boving. She is survived by her children, Cheryl (Terry) Corney, Marian Jo (Hal) Marston, Howard (Debbie) Hockman; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. A private service will be held with interment at Betzer Cemetery. A memorial service is planned for a later date. Arrangements by DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, Canal Winchester.
