Douglas Alan Gerhard

Douglas A. Gerhard, 62 of Canal Winchester, OH passed April 30, 2022 at OSU Hospital with his two sons and wife by his side. Born August 5, 1959 in Port Huron, MI to Jack A. Gerhard and Shirley M. Mani Gerhard. Doug was a Learning Advisor for Shell, a job he loved for many years. Doug received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business at the age of 58. He always said he was on the 30 year plan. Doug was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Worthington, Ohio. Loved music, cars and fishing with his sons, granddaughter and lake buddy’s.

Preceded in death by his grandpa, August Gerhard; grandma, Joanne Kania Gerhard; father, Jack Gerhard and sister, Susan Gerhard. Survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Maureen Gerhard; sons, Alan (Brittany) and Alex; cherished granddaughter, Madison; brothers, Alex (Terri) Gerhard, Scott (Chris) Gerhard and Craig Gerhard; sisters-in-law, Marlena O Kelley and Myra (Tracy) McGlone; mother, Shirley Schwartz; loving mother-in-law, Leona Hamson; many nieces, nephews and longtime friends.
