Edward Glidewell

Edward “Ed” Lee Glidewell, age 76, of Canal Winchester, Ohio, died November 16, 2018 at Riverside Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. He was born June 27, 1942 in Greencastle, Indiana to the late Ted and Mary Ellen Glidewell. Ed was a United States Navy Veteran.

Preceded in death by his sister, Susie; Ed is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Sandy; daughter, Mary Ann (Clark) Pence; son, Chris Glidewell; grandchildren, Alyssa Cook, Katrina Pence, Jesse Pence; great-grandson, Bentley Cook; sisters, Barbara Leonard, Betsy Feagans; nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

A memorial service will take place 3:00 p.m. Thursday, November 29 at the New Haven United Methodist Church, 630 Lincoln Highway East, New Haven, Indiana 46774. Arrangements by the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY. Those who wish may donate to Ed’s Grandkid’s Continuing Education Fund (checks can be made payable to Mary Ann Pence) in Ed’s memory.
