Edwin W. Laramee, age 80, of Pickerington, OH passed away June 16, 2022 at the James Cancer Center after a short battle of cancer. Edwin was born October 5, 1941 in Quincy, Massachusetts. Parents were Raymond and Jackie Laramee. After high school Ed worked in retail then joined the United Sates Army where he served in Vietnam in the 71st Assault Helicopter Company/Firebirds. After Vietnam, he attended and graduated from Bentley University in Accounting and Business. He worked at Shoe Corp of America and Just Sweats then served as Chief Deputy County Auditor for 25 years for Fairfield County retiring at 80. Ed was adventurous and enjoyed going on vacations with his family. As a young man he walked/hitchhiked to Woodstock and even to work, which was an amusement park. He enjoyed in his spare time reading, gardening and politics and being a member of the American Legion.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Ray Laramee and sister, Evelyn Eaton.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sandy Laramee; daughter, Becky Leathers; son, Jeff (Amy) Austin; grandchildren, Lindsey Lemke, Shelby Shryock, and PJ Leathers, and Madison and Allie Austin and numerous other family members, loved ones and friends.
