Survived by her husband of 59 years, John of Pickerington, OH; three sons, Mark of Gahanna, OH, Jeff of Carrollton, OH and Brian (Kelly) of Centerville, OH; several grandchildren, Kaitlynn, Zachary, Christopher, Alyssa, Andrew and Anna; great grandchildren, Calie, Bailey and Aiden; in addition to all the wonderful extended family and friends she has come to know. Eleanor’s life was one of continuous and dedicated service to others. After retiring from Pickerington Elementary School as its Head Cook, she then focused many of her volunteer efforts at Pickerington’s Senior Center, where she became affectionately known by many as the “Noodle Queen” for her dedication to its fundraising efforts by way of noodle production and sales. Eleanor, with her husband John, was a long standing supporter to St. John’s Villa (Developmentally Disabled Adult Community) in Carrollton, OH and an active member within her church Seton Parish, her favorite contribution being that of Eucharistic Minister. Eleanor and John were part of the founding membership of Seton Parish in Pickerington. She enjoyed various activities including canvas painting, Red Hat Club, bowling, cards, dice, Penn State, collecting Santa Clauses (300+) and taking cruises with John, noting Alaska to be her favorite and most recommended destination. Above all and most important to Eleanor was her family. She has touched and positively impacted many lives, not just her own family, but with many friends and strangers alike. She will be forever missed, until we see her again. Go with God and be at peace. Family and friends may visit 2-6:00pm on Sunday, December 30, at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 550 Hill Rd. N.
