Elton (Bill) W Graham, Jr. age 78, of Pickerington, OH, died Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Diley Ridge Medical Center in Canal Winchester. Born August 31, 1942 in Brownwood, TX to Elton Graham Sr. and Mary Louise Berry. Bill started school in Laredo, TX and later graduated from Mathis High School in Mathis, TX. After graduation, he joined the Army where he served his country in Vietnam. After his service, he moved to San Antonio and raised his family for the next 20 years. He also continued in higher education, receiving the first diploma from National Autonomous University of Mexico in Mexico City. He also worked at the San Antonio Express newspaper and at Brooks Air Force base for many years. He retired working in public relations at Laughlin Air Force base in Del Rio, TX. He is survived by his wife, Yong Vodicka of Pickerington, Ohio, and his children, Del Rey Graham of Clyde, TX, Robin Meredith (Danny) of Bastrop, TX, Suleta Altgelt (James) of Bastrop, TX, Leslie Morgan (Houston) of Abilene, TX, Gina LeGoullon (Michael) of Clyde, TX; step son, Kevin Vodicka, of Columbus, OH, and step daughter, Kim Vodicka (Alex) of Austin, TX. He is also survived by many, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his only sibling, Dudley Graham. Interment with military honors will take place 10:45 am Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
